Just installed my first OpenNode (6 beta 1) and OMS.

After installing OMS, I tried to login as root via http.  OMS will not accept my root password.

Did I miss something?????

Humm, this might be a clue, from /var/log/secure............

Password should be OMS VM root password - that you set.

sprattgraham:
Same issue tried username: root and the password is what I set when installing OMS VM

activesys:
We are sorry for misinformation - new OpenNode 6 OMS v2 has its own default password and user - separate from OMS VM users.

user: opennode
pass: changeme

You can currently delete default user and add new user with new password like this:
cd /opt/oms/
bin/passwd -d opennode
bin/passwd -a omsadmin -g admins

Password change is yet to be implemented.

sprattgraham:
How do you import the host into OMS I've sent a request from the host?
