Updating to vzkernel-2.6.32-042stab053.3 soon?
(1/1)
TAfirehawk:
I understand why your releases require a specific vzkernel - even though I don't like it and want an option to use any version - as I don't like updating to every testing vzkernel either. But I am hoping you make a priority to test and release the rebase versions of OpenVZ since they are getting base RHEL security and bug fixes and I consider these very important updates to vzkernel.

We do our best - latest stable vzkernel is in repo - added last week.
But sometimes there is a little use of security fixes when vzkernel itself proves to be completely unstable - so we dont hurry with every kernel upgrade. Soon there will be stable and opennode-test repos - so we can provide newer kernels in test faster without touching stable repo.

And bear in mind that vzkernel-2.6.32-042stab053.3 is not a stable kernel but testing branch - we certainly wont release these into stable repo.
Latest stable is 042stab049.6 to my knowledge - and this is in repo.
