ONC @local-host:8080/plugins/onc/root/ -- blank page

Now, I am unable to connect to localhost/oms, localhost:8080/plugins/onc/root/, or localhost:80

Hi,

1. testvirt5 is gone now, it was a long dead certificate request, which somehow always ended in oms vm - but now it's located and removed.

2. What does "I have rebuilt the oms vm" mean? Have you reinstalled OMS as well?

3. Could you show output of netstat -nlp please?

thanks,
Ilja

jpoole:
Sorry for the poorly phrased note. I meant I had vzctl destroyed the previous oms, and extracted out the testvirt5 certificate by hand. I see that you guys have handled that issue though.

As for connecting to the ONC wui, I was able to do so a little while ago. Simply put, i had to the wrong ip address for the localhost :)

I do have another question, however, I was wondering if there was anyway to have all vm instances be redirected to another directory rather than /storage. Our production servers have all vm instances sitting inside another logical volume, mounted upon /vm. I tried ln -s /vm /storage - but this did not seem to work. I may just be unaware of the correct UNIX command ;)

Thanks,
Justin

Hi, Justin

personally I haven't tested it, but:

1. Symbolic link could work - what kind of exception are you getting?

2. Another thing to try is bind mount: http://docs.1h.com/Bind_mounts

thanks,
Ilja

jpoole:
symbolic link will work, thanks!
